Developing Desirable and Sustainable Career Paths for Academic Data Scientists

I contributed to a presentation of the Berkeley Institute for Data Science’s Career Paths & Alternative Metrics Working Group, in collaboration with our colleagues at UW and NYU, describing academic data scientists’ career aspirations and challenges. We are aiming to release a report in the near future.
